Whether you are in a headstand or a child’s pose, I am a big believer that yoga is for everyone and every body.
I began my yoga practice in January of 2018. Prior to that, I dabbled in random gym yoga classes that never left me feeling fully satisfied. I always felt distracted or bored. I remember thinking that this is good for me and I should do this, but to be completely honest, it wasn’t something I was excited to sign up for. It wasn’t until I purchased a local hot yoga studio Groupon that I began practicing regularly and found my passion. I quickly began to see all of the amazing benefits yoga had on not just my body, but my mind as well so I started practicing more and more. The more my love for yoga grew, the more I wanted to be able to share this beautiful practice with others. In October of 2018, I began my training at Younique Yoga in Allenhurst, NJ with the brilliant Amanda Feinstein and became certified in Vinyasa in February 2019. Since then, I have been actively sharing this life changing practice.
I love vinyasa because of the way it connects the mind, body, and soul with each breath. You can have a deep meditative practice or lay in child’s pose for the entire class and it would still be yoga. My hope for you is to leave my class feeling like you have the tools in your “yoga toolkit” to take the feeling you have on your mat and recreate it in the real world. Yoga has truly changed my life for the better and I am so grateful to be able to share this wonderful gift!
